Dr. Louisa Leung is a Certified Pediatric Dental Specialist who earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2000.

Before Dr. Leung began her specialty training, she completed the Pediatric Dental Residency Training program at BC’s Children’s Hospital and she practiced in general dentistry for two years. She pursued post-graduate studies in Houston at the University of Texas Health Science Center to obtain her Pediatric Dental specialty certificate and Master of Science degree.

Despite Dr. Leung’s love of practising dentistry in Texas, her heart and Canadian roots made her return back home to Vancouver, BC.

Dr. Leung provides primary dental care and comprehensive dental treatment for infants, children, adolescents, and special needs patients at the office, Cambie Surgical Centre, and BC’s Children’s Hospital. Besides private practice, Dr. Leung teaches Pediatric Dentistry to undergraduate dental students as a Clinical Instructor at UBC and Douglas College and she presents lectures to different dental study clubs and groups.

Outside of work, Dr. Leung keeps busy with her husband and three young children.
