Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Szeto completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degrees at the University of British Columbia. After gaining valuable experience working as a General Dentist in Kelowna, B.C., she decided to pursue her passion and specialize in Pediatric Dentistry.
This led her to pursue specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Manitoba, where she received advanced academic and clinical training, and honed her skills in providing comprehensive dental care for children and adolescents from all walks of life.
Dr. Szeto is passionate about making dental visits a positive experience for her young patients. Her goal as a Pediatric Dentist is to help her patients and their families feel comfortable and at ease, promoting oral health in a calm and enjoyable environment.
Besides caring for her patients and their families at PDG Pediatric Dental Group (PDG), Dr. Szeto enjoys exploring the world by travelling and volunteering in dental outreach programs. She fondly recalls her volunteer work in Jamaica and her adventurous 15 km hike through Cinque Terre, Italy, in 40-degree heat! More recently, she has taken up pottery wheel throwing and enjoys discovering new skills. In her free time, she also loves traveling and exploring different cuisines, always seeking new food adventures.
Dr. Szeto is thrilled to be part of PDG and is committed to helping children and their families by making their visits fun and exciting.
